HERITAGE HAITI PROGRAMS
HERITAGE IS PLEASED TO OFFER TWO HAITI ADOPTION PROGRAMS
- Haiti Link -
- Single women 30 years of age or over
- Married couples---Prior divorce accepted
- At least one parent MUST be 30 years of age.
- At least one parent MUST be a U.S. citizen.
- Parents must be Evangelical Christian.
- At this time, families must have no more than four children in the home at the time of placement. (Please contact Heritage if you have more than four children to see if you qualify as rules vary.)
- Haiti Hope -
Our new program has no specific requirements related to religion. We work with a new wonderfully run orphanage there.
The Haitian Government and Haiti Hope program require that prospective adoptive parents be married, and that one of the applicants be at least 28 years old. Haiti Hope does NOT require specific religious affiliation of the parents. Couples must be married a minimum of TWO years if a first marriage for both. If either spouse was previously married, the applying couple must have been married a minimum of THREE years. At this time, this program is not open to single individuals hoping to adopt. At least one adoptive parent must be a US Citizen in order to adopt internationally due to U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security requirements.
