Waiting Children China Program Assistant

 

I began my relationship with Heritage back in 1999 when, while married, I began my journey for Emily, my first daughter from China. Three years later, Heritage was approved for the Waiting Children China program and I became their official cheerleader after we adopted our second daughter, Sophie, from their first list.

After arriving home this year with Natalie, also a "waiting child", I came on board to assist Vicki with the expansion of the Waiting Children China program. Talk about a dream job! I work with beautiful children, walk their families through the adoption process and rejoice when they come home. In addition, I work with awesome, committed people who truly care about the children and their families. Heritage believes in lifelong support of their families, and that's something I admire. It feels like a great big family.

Along with my children ages 20, 18, 16, 7,6, and 3, I'm fortunate to call the Columbia Gorge my home.

I'm looking forward to hearing from families interested in knowing more about our Waiting Children China.
