 If
I dreamed of the perfect place for me to work each day,
Heritage would be it. My co-workers are wonderful,
caring, talented, honest, and funny people with a true
dedication to their work. I interact daily with
fabulous, diverse families who I’ve come to know closely
during the adoption process. I have pictures of
beautiful children’s faces in my office that fill my
heart to know they are home with loving parents who
cherish them. What an incredible gift.
My life away from work is
complete with my husband of 26 years, our four children and
two cats. (Don’t ask how the second cat arrived, I could
have sworn I said no…). Our three oldest children are away
at college, and our youngest daughter is starting high
school and is our last child living at home. She now gets
the full attention of her devoted parents, which makes her
soooo happy!! The house has become quiet and the transition
is hard, but life moves on filled with new challenges to
keep us busy.
I am a lucky woman. I can’t imagine a better life and am
truly grateful for the blessings of each moment.
