- I've been singing
Heritage's praises for years, and now I'm thrilled to be
working here! When I decided to go back to work after
being a "stay-at-home" mom for six years (why do they
call it a "stay-at-home mom"? I was never home), I knew
it had to be a job that was meaningful and rewarding.
Not only does this job fit that bill for me, but I know
that what I do here is also meaningful and rewarding for
the Heritage families as well.

My
husband and I have been fortunate to form our family
through the miracle of adoption. Our son joined us
through an independent adoption in 1997 and our daughter
came to us from China, through Heritage, in 2000. They
bring us a lot of joy as well as dark circles under our
eyes! Thanks to their numerous school, sporting, music
and other miscellaneous activities, they keep us plenty
busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
In my very spare time, I volunteer in my children's
schools and for our local Little League. Someday soon, I
hope to find time to get caught up with my scrapbooking
and maybe tackle another cross-stitch project.
Most of all, I enjoy
just sitting back and watching our children
grow into wonderful people.
