- We made it home on Valentine’s
day. Carissa is a total joy and only stops smiling when I try to
put her down for a nap or bedtime… I think she thinks we will
disappear!
-
- THANK YOU! WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU
DO. YOU SAVED ONE LITTLE GIRL AND SHE WILL HAVE A GOOD LIFE.

Carissa loves playing with her
daddy and brother too. I think she was afraid she would not get a
daddy as she watched the other girls daddy's play with them in
China with this sad look on her face… Faith, our older daughter,
is now adjusting better as she had a few moments (most of the
time) In China when she was very worried as Carissa only wanted
momma and she wanted the sister she had waited for so long for and
she felt Carissa did not like her… poor kid. As you know we love
Kathy. She is a jewel… She took Faith shoe shopping and I think
they looked in every store for hours…. Bob was also very good. I
enjoyed him but he made me miss my son so much! Kathy was so
prepared and we saw other agencies people who were acting like
they did not have the papers they needed or were doing paperwork
when we got our kids instead…. I am thankful God led us to
Heritage and to our Carissa. We know we are done with our
adoptions now… but we are so thankful to have met such a fine
agency to end this journey of adoption for our family. Keep up the
good work. I know we adoptive parents drive you crazy at times…
but my daughter alone is worth the effort.
Dawn, Dave, Faith, Stephen and forever home, Carissa Hope YuFeng
